EASY CARE: machine washable (40 C/104 F); tumble dry on low heat; wash separately, as it might leave lint during few first washes.

The reason for the lint of the WASHED WAFFLE BIG towels is 3D open weave, which is loose weave. Loose weave creates a thicker feel for the towels, which our customers love, but has more space between yarns which creates some lint during first washes. When fabric is woven very tied, as all our linen huckaback towels there is no way for lint to go out. As WASHED WAFFLE BIG has an open weave, some lint is going back into the holes and leaving with next washings. Sometimes some colours lint more than others because of the dyestuff.

Usually we recommend washing and drying these towels separately from all other items. It should come off after 5-6 washes. We also suggest putting them in a tumble dryer at the lowest temperature program after washing. Another suggestion we could give is to try detergent without enzymes (non-bio). Some detergents have very "aggressive" enzymes targeting tough stain removal, but they act quite aggressively on fabric structure as well, which potentially could cause more particles to separate.
